October at Post & Pour: Courage & Community

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

The air has turned crisp, the colors are loud, and the world is inviting us to simply be. This is the good part of the year: a chance to set down the hurry, step away from the noise, and settle into the quiet joy of the season.

We know October is a month full of important acknowledgments: the honoring of history and resilience, the recognition of quiet battles, and the shared commitment to support those who are struggling.

We believe that joy is a courageous act, and we invite you to find your strength and your smile right here, celebrating the twin pillars that hold us up: Courage and Community.

Post & Pour is your anchor this month- a warm space for reflection, shared laughter, and the simple, powerful act of standing together. You bring the heart, we'll bring the warmth. Let's make this season a beacon of hope and good, together.

Toss for Tomorrow: Fueling Futures, One Dictionary at a Time

Sunday, October 12 | At Post & Pour | In Partnership with Bonney Lake–Tehaleh Rotary

This is more than a cornhole tournament, it’s a chance to put possibility in a child’s hands.

We're partnering with Rotary to give every Bonney Lake third grader their very own dictionary. Because literacy isn’t just a milestone, it’s the spark for lifelong learning, self-confidence, and courage.

Event Details:

  • 💥 Double-elimination tournament (play for bragging rights and real change)

  • 💰 Cash prizes for 1st & 2nd place

  • 🎯 $25 per team (2 players)

  • 💗 50% of proceeds go to Rotary’s $1,000 literacy goal

Can’t play? Come cheer, donate, and soak up the good vibes. Every dollar makes a difference.

🎟️ Register via GoTab (and add your team name in the notes)

Let’s toss for fun. Toss for literacy. Toss for tomorrow.

Prost & Pour: A Week of Warmth and Gemütlichkeit

October 6–12 | At Post & Pour

Gemütlichkeit—a German word that means “warmth, good cheer, and belonging”—isn’t just a vibe. It’s a way of life.

So we’re turning the lights down, the taps up, and the tempo slower for a week of Oktoberfest-style community gathering.

What to Expect:

  • 🍻 Rotating Oktoberfest Beers – Think malty, crisp, and totally crushable

  • 🥨 Comfort Eats – Bratwursts, pretzels, mustard flights, and hearty fall fare

  • 🎲 Daily Events – Trivia, pop-ups, surprise pours, and family fun

No tickets. No pressure. Just show up, grab a seat, and let the season do its thing.

A Thought to Carry With You

“And all at once, summer collapsed into fall.” — Oscar Wilde

Let it collapse. Let the noise fade. In the quiet that remains, you might just find the strength and the people you need.

You're not just welcome here. You belong here.

With warmth and hope, The Post & Pour Crew
