Welcome to the Post & Pour, a small community coffee shop and taphouse nestled in the heart of Tehaleh. Our vision is simple: to cultivate an inclusive, thriving community in Tehaleh that inspires meaningful, positive change locally and globally. Our mission is achieve this vision is to serve as a welcoming "third place" where meaningful conversations and connections flourish, fostering a vibrant, engaged community.
The idea for the Post & Pour was born from the passion of two of our majority owners, Melanie and Wilbur, who are proud residents of Tehaleh. They longed for more offerings at The Post and sought opportunities for the community to interact and grow together. Their vision led them to seek the expertise of their close friend Stu, a seasoned owner and operator of several bottle and tap houses in Seattle and Portland. Stu instantly fell in love with the building and the vibrant neighborhood, and together, they brought the Post & Pour to life.
Our team now consists of Melanie, Wilbur, Stu, and two other partners from Stu's businesses, all dedicated to creating a wonderful space for our community to enjoy. We firmly believe in enlightened capitalism—the idea that business can be a force for good for both the planet and its people. Our goal is to use this coffee shop to spark conversations that lead to meaningful connections and eventually a vibrant, engaged local community.
At the Post & Pour, we aim to be more than just a coffee shop or a taphouse; we aspire to be your "third place." A third place is a social environment distinct from home (first place) and work (second place), where people gather for public relaxation and casual interactions. It’s a space where you’ll meet regulars, make new friends, and engage in light, pleasant conversation free from the pressures of productivity.
